Most councils have allocated several dedicated spaces to motorcyles close to the CBD. Find them easily and quickly with the Motorcycle Network Parking App.

Each state in Australia has different parking rules - and each Local Council governs the areas and the fees. They are all different and you need to know the rules to avoid a parking ticket.

For instance: Victoria is the ONLY state that allows you to park on the footpath. If you park on the footpath in any other state you will be fined.
Sydney CBD allows bikes to park in car bays without purchasing a ticket - but you MUST abide by the time limits.
Perth CBD does NOT allow bikes in car bays at all. You MUST park in dedicated bike bays.

These and many other rules make it difficult to park your motorbike legally and responsibly when travelling from state to state.
